How I’m Organizing and Releasing Over 300 Songs Online

I left the music section of the “Works” tab for last because that is where I had the most content to upload and organize. Over 300 songs! Most of which I wrote in my 20s. I told myself I’d create an album cover for each (using Midjourney), but I wasn’t sure how the process would develop. Today I found out.

I’ve decided upon the goal of posting one new album per week. That will be more manageable. I’ll give a brief description of the album, mention a few songs, and then I’ll upload those songs to the Soundcloud page I created and embed those songs in the post about the album. I’ll also post the full album to Bandcamp site, which I also created today, and I’ll link there.

Every new venture needs new workflows. It’s possible I won’t need to post all the music here. I have the feeling it’ll be like, “and you get the idea.” But I think it’ll be good to post them on Bandcamp. It feels good to share the work. The next album is a favorite of mine from the period. It’s called Badlands.
